About the free generator

Is the certificate generator really free?
Yes. Pick a template, fill in the details, and download a print-ready PDF or PNG — no account, no watermark, no credit card. Paid plans exist for bulk issuance, verification links, and email delivery, not for the download itself.
Do I need to sign up?
No. The generator works without an account. You'll only need one if you want to save a design, issue certificates in bulk from a spreadsheet, or give each recipient a verifiable link.
What file formats can I download?
PDF for printing and archiving, or PNG for email, Slack, and social posts. Both are rendered at print resolution from the exact layout shown in the live preview.
Are the certificates print-ready?
Yes. Every template is designed at A4 dimensions (landscape or portrait) with full-bleed backgrounds, so the PDF prints cleanly on A4 and US Letter without scaling artifacts.
Can I add my own logo or change the colors?
Not in the free generator — it edits the text fields only, which is what keeps it instant and account-free. Logo uploads, custom fonts, brand colors, and full drag-and-drop layout control are in the CertSeal editor.
Can I make 100 certificates at once?
Not with this tool — it produces one certificate at a time. For a whole cohort, upload a CSV or connect Zoom, Typeform, or Zapier, and CertSeal generates and emails a personalized certificate to every recipient in one run.
Do free certificates have a verification link?
No. A verification URL and QR code have to point at a real issuance record, which only exists for certificates issued through an account. Free downloads are standalone files.
How many can I download?
Enough for normal use — up to 10 per hour and 40 per day. The limit exists purely to keep the rendering service healthy for everyone; if you're hitting it, you probably want bulk issuance anyway.
